Was there an appetite for a Dragon Quest Builders sequel? Square Enix clearly thinks so, as it’s pulled out its wooden hammer and pegged a 12th July release date to Dragon Quest Builders 2 on the PlayStation 4. According to Square Enix, the game “packs in even more content and unlimited building combinations in an all-new original story with new characters, world and gameplay to satisfy long-time fans and newcomers alike”.
Of course the biggest change is the addition of four-player online co-op. This will allow “up to four friends to play together and create something truly magnificent”. Other additions include farming features, a first-person mode, and the ability to construct much larger buildings with far more variety than ever before.
