Ghost of Tsushima is one of the four games that Sony’s set to showcase at its E3 2018 press conference, and much like with Death Stranding and The Last of Us: Part II, the company putting out that information early has allowed Sucker Punch to start teasing. Take this photograph shared by animation director Billy Harper: it’s a katana prop, located in a motion capture studio.
Even back in the Sly Cooper days, the Seattle studio’s always created really cool animations, so we’re looking forward to seeing how its samurai-themed open worlder looks in motion. We’re expecting plenty of acrobatics, and lightning fast controller response – as is the developer’s forte. All will be revealed in little over two weeks, and we can’t wait.
