Games big and small were announced at this year’s Game Awards, and one title that almost got swept under the carpet is Journey to the Savage Planet, a first person adventure game from a brand new developer. Typhoon Studios was founded by industry veterans, whose combined works include Assassin’s Creed III, Far Cry 4, and Batman: Arkham Origins.
It looks pretty interesting in the above teaser. It seems a space-faring company named Kindred Aerospace has sent you on a one-way flight to a far flung planet, and you’ll need to survive as you explore and research the world. There’s a definite humorous slant, which fits well with a game like this. No firm release date was given for the game, but we expect it’ll show up next year.
