My current favourite book is ‘Magic. A Rough Guide’ by Nathan McGrath. It’s a gritty story based in a Britain where magic is a terrorist offence.

Lizzy, a young magician escapes from a prison laboratory where she’s been locked up with other magician girls since she was five years old. Determined to free all the other girls, things don’t go as expected when she comes across Chris, a joyrider who has only just realized he’s a magician himself.

Deal: You Can Get PlayStation Classic Mini Console for Just £30 in UK

A classic bargain. Remember the PlayStation Classic? Review: Team Sonic Racing – It Ain't Mario Kart, But It's Good Enough

There’s no AiAi in Team. Here’s the thing: PlayStation 4 does not have many examples of good arcade racing games, let alone kart racers. The few exceptions are trying new things in an attempt to liven things up, but the reality is that players who just want a straightforward, drifty, boosty racing title aren’t really catered for. The argument is they don’t sell nearly as well as they used to,…

The Division 2's Raid Appears to Be Way Too Difficult on Consoles

Keyboard warriors. The Division 2 got its long awaited eight-player raid yesterday, and it’s incredibly difficult. Now, a sturdy challenge can be a good thing in a team-based title like this — it can provide veteran players with a great opportunity to really strut their stuff — but the general consensus seems to be that this mission is just far too hard for its own good. At least, on consoles.…

The Marvel Cinematic Universe’s expertise in making us care about things that are either insignificant (remember brave ANT-hony?) or are inanimate objects is truly impressive. We all gasped in despair as Thanos brought his blows down to destroy Captain America’s shield in Avengers: Endgame, but there was the destruction of another weapon that made us sadder.RELATED: Why Marvel Will Never Be Able To Top Avengers: EndgameMjolnir was featured in every Thor appearance barring Avengers: Infinity War, and the worthiness enchantment made us fonder of the hammer, as it carried significant meaning with it. Rage 2 review – sparkling combat is let down by a hollow open world

Rage 2 review – sparkling combat is let down by a hollow open world For all its promise of anarchic mayhem and its striking punk palette, Rage 2 is a surprisingly vanilla experience. Though on paper it delivers a lot of the contemporary triple-A features we’ve come to expect – meaty combat, open-world exploration, sassy (if occasionally grossly stereotypical) NPCs that offer secrets and side missions, unlockable fast travel, and a perfectly serviceable, if somewhat derivative, post-apocalyptic story – it sometimes feels as though these disparate parts are pieces of a puzzle that don’t… Source: Eurogamer. https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2019-05-17-rage-2-review-sparkling-combat-is-let-down-by-a-hollow-open-world

Steven Universe & OK K.O.! Bundle Review: A Mixed Bag Of Cartoon Homages

The bundled games evoke the wonderful art styles and writing of their source material, but their gameplay isn’t as consistently successful.A new bundle includes physical versions of two previously released Cartoon Network series adaptations: Steven Universe: Save the Light and OK K.O.! Let’s Play Heroes. While both games successfully evoke the entrancing art styles and charming writing of the shows they’re based on, they vary in the quality of their gameplay. Turn-based RPG Save the Light is spectacular, but Let’s Play Heroes, a part-adventure, part-side-scrolling brawler, isn’t quite as good. What fun it contains tends to get lost amid the tediousness of its moment-to-moment gameplay. In Save the Light, players… Read more / Source: Screenrant.com: https://screenrant.com/steven-universe-ok-ko-bundle-review/
