Just saw this on PushSquare. I’ve been tracking Horizon: Zero Dawn even since news of it came out. I
really enjoyed Killzone 2, 3 and Shadow Fall, and was intrigued by this change of direction. According to the article “The game apparently renders its own clouds depending on factors like temperature and wind speeds, which is just ridiculous.” That alone made me want to buy the game. I bought Watch Dogs 2 after reading about how they developed algorithms for the NPC characters that populated the city. Yeah, I buy and play games for crazy reasons – and still enjoy playing them.
Part of me wishes the crazy weather system was kept in the game.
